from Estelle Designs. Eco Shetland Worsted is a warm and cozy woollen spun yarn, made from 100% Organic Shetland Wool. Perfect for heavily textured stitches like cables, or colour work, this yarn is sure to become a favourite! Because this yarn is woollen spun, more air is trapped alongside the fibres, giving it a larger number of metres per skein. Woollen spun yarns are loftier, more elastic and lighter in weight, making for a luxuriously soft knit.

Hand wash, lay flat to dry. 100g. 275 m/300 yds Gauge: 20sts over 10cm on 4.5mm needles.

Big mistake

Sorry, but this yarn is like knitting with string!! Yes beautiful colours but I ordered it on line and did not get to feel yarn. Definitely would have NOT have purchases this particular yarn. I love natural fibres but this is so course and rough I can’t imagine wearing a garment made out of this
